The Society has a growing collection of manuscripts, photographs and ephemera about people and places in Kennebec County that are not available in other archives.

2,100 catalogued artifacts/archival materials 1800 to present,2,000 partially catalogued digital images of island life 1860 to present,2,000 artifacts and documents approved for accession, and115 oral histories (audio and video) gathered from 1991-2016.
