For each educator license renewal 16 hours of continuing education are required.
Please feel free to submit, prior to completion, any workshop, conference, or virtual training, that you feel would enhance your driver education instruction for review. Below is a list of approved continued education options.
"Back to Basics" Classroom Success: 4 hours
Obtain a Motorcycle Rider Instructor License
Motorcycle Rider Education Instructor License (Chapter 11 Rules Governing Motorcycle Rider Education (Word)): Entitles a person who is certified by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation to teach the Basic Rider Course (BRC). This course includes a three-hour e-course, five hours of classroom instruction, and 10 hours on a closed range operating a motorcycle.
