My father was a combat photographer who covered all of Korea and the "big shots" like MacArthur and Mark Clark as well as photos of terrible atrocities. His pictures appeared in magazines worldwide. He died 3/14/14 of multiple myeloma. So proud of you, Dad, and miss your voice and your stories so much. Check out kwvdm.org for interviews of Korean War vets!
My father served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam and is truly a hero because of the person he is and how he treats everyone! I love him.
You gave so much....God Bless you Derik.
During the most miserable times, he kept up moral by singing the song of "Gilligan" and whistling cheerful tunes, always working harder than everyone else to make us see that there could be a difference.
Debra joined the Army Reserve in North Carolina to serve her country and further her education. With only one semester left in college she was called to serve in Iraq in 2003 for 12 months. As the selfless, caring person she is Debra has put her civilian plans on hold and remains in the Army Reserves currently stationed in Germany. I think of her daily and hope she comes home safe and sound. We are so proud of Debra and miss her very much. Love from Mom and Seth
To David and all of those brave men and women, may your service to our country not be forgotten or go unnoticed. Thank you for keeping us all safe.
Once a Marine, always a Marine, proud to be an American. He taught me well, to follow in his footsteps of pride, honor and respect.
A U.S. Marine, no longer available to us to cast his own vote.
So you know that what you fought for was not in vein. Thank you for your service.
