Phil served bravely with the 619th Army Reserve from Auburn. He kept in touch with his 7 year old daughter by letter, phone & e-mails constantly, not letting her forget he loved her, and missed her. We are very proud of his service, and thank him.

Phillip Bryant

Phillip Bryant HN/USN Fleet Marine Forces gave his life in the service of his country and the Marines who were in his care. We were shipmates at GLakes Hospital Corps Training Command. He was my friend.

Philip Norman Kneeland

To the strongest, kindest, most gentle Hero that ever lived: You lived your life in service, never thinking of yourself. You left the world a better place, touching so many and brightening so many lives. You gave your all to your country, to your family and to your community. You helped to shape the lives of so many young men and women and your distinguished service and legacy shall live on through their lives and accomplishments. You are truly my American Hero and I salute you. May God bless you and keep you, until we are reunited on the other shore.

Philip H. Wardwell, Sr.

My father served in the 5th Air Force, 85th Airdrome Squadron of the US Army. His expression of partiotism throughout his life will be remembered and honored by his family. He passed away at 85 years old on September 30, 2008. He was a man of great integrity who valued his family and the simple pleasures of life.

Peter P. Basler

My brother left college to join the Marines. Continued his education when he returned, being the son of a widow it would have made him exempt at the time. He is a brave man along with so many others.
