All applicants for professional licensure are required to take an online training and pass a qualifying exam.
To receive a certificate for license application, follow these steps:
- Read the Online Qualifying Education Training (PDF), as well as the Manufactured Housing Laws and Rules
- Print and fill out the Qualifying Exam (PDF)
- Submit the exam to the Manufactured Housing Program via email to manuhousing.moca@maine.gov
- Results will be emailed to you in 7-10 business days. You must get 70% of the questions on the exam correct to pass.
- If you pass, your certificate will follow by mail. After you have passed the exam, you may submit your license application along with the appropriate fees.
- If you do not pass the exam, you may take it again following steps 1-3.
