The Maine Office of Community Affairs (MOCA) is a one-stop-shop to assist municipalities, Tribal governments and regional planning organizations in building a more resilient future.

We are bringing together partners across state government and beyond to provide more coordinated funding and technical assistance resources to communities. This includes state programs involving land use, housing and floodplain planning, as well as building codes, coastal management, mobilizing volunteers, and climate resilience.

Community leaders shouldn't have to be experts in state government to find the right resources for their situation, and we are making it easier. MOCA is a new organization, and just getting started, but together with our partners we are looking forward to having a big impact.
