The Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission (LCRPC) is partnering with the state’s Municipal Planning Assistance Program and the Maine Coastal Program to host a workshop on nature-based planning strategies that encourage resilient shorelines in coastal communities.
The workshop will be held Monday, Nov. 9, 5:30-8:30 p.m., at Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences, 60 Bigelow Drive, East Boothbay.
This discussion will focus on how closed-wall panel systems, modular pods, and tiny homes are currently treated under Maine’s code framework, and opportunities to include these systems in Maine’s updated modular building rules.
