2/9 | READFIELD | Robert Orr, 52, shot to death inside his home, which is then set on fire. David Silva, 32, who was renting a room from Orr is charged with murder, robbery and arson.
2/10 | KNOX | Tyler Seaney, 19, is shot and killed inside an apartment of his friend, 19 year old Luke Bryant, who is handling a gun. Bryant is charged with manslaughter.
4/21 | WESTBROOK | Robert Stubbs, 40, stabbed to death in his apartment. Tareek Hendricks, 30, of Worcester, Mass is being sought. DRUGS
5/1 | DOVER FOXCROFT | Ryan Mayo, 20, is shot and killed outside his house by his brother, Steven Mayo, 22, who is charged with murder. DOMESTIC
5/24 | SKOWHEGAN | Marie Flewellen, 75, is shot by her husband, Barbour Flewellen, 86, who shoots and kills himself. DOMESTIC, MURDER-SUICIDE
5/24 | WARREN | Lloyd Millet, 51, inmate at the State Prison, dies following an assault. Another inmate, Franklin Higgins, 49, is indicted for murder in October.
5/31 | FARMINGTON | Andrew Holland, 23, is shot and killed by his friend, Ryan Ouimet, 23, who is handling a handgun inside an apartment. Ouimet is charged with manslaughter.
6/6 | WINSLOW | Sarah Gordon, 30, is shot and killed outside her home by her husband, Nathaniel Gordon, 32, who shoots and kills himself following a police chase.

6/9 | BANGOR | Melvin Abreu, 28, is strangled inside an apartment and his body is thrown out a second floor window. William Hall, 28, is charged with murder. Bangor Police are investigating.
6/11 | AUGUSTA | David Cox, 46, stabbed to death inside his Green St. apartment. His room mate, 36 year old Michael Young, is indicted for murder and is arrested in April, 2012.

6/13 | DEXTER | Amy Lake, 38, and her two children, Cote, 13, and Monica, 12, are shot and killed inside their home by their husband and father - Steven Lake, 37, who shoots and kills himself. DOMESTIC - TRIPLE MURDER - SUICIDE
6/13 | BANGOR | Richard Jeskey killed inside his home. His wife, Roxanne Jeskey, 48, is arrested a week later and charged with murder. DOMESTIC
6/21 | FARMINGTON | Grace Burton, 81, is stabbed to death inside her apartment by an intruder. On November 17, Juan Contrera, 27, is arrested in Waltham, MA and charged with murder.
7/1 | LEWISTON | Christiana Fesmire, 22, is killed inside her apartment, although her body has not been located. Buddy Robinson, 30, charged with murder in October.
7/12 | LEWISTON | Danita Brown, 38, beaten to death inside an apartment and her body later found in the basement. Bob Ryder, 20, is charged with murder.
7/21 | CAMBRIDGE | Alfred Licata, 63, beaten to death outside his home. His son, Angelo Licata, 33, is charged with murder. DOMESTIC
7/25 | NEW GLOUCESTER | Renee Sandora, 27, and Trevor Mills, 28, are shot to death outside her home. Joel Hayden, 29, is charged with two counts of murder. Her death is DOMESTIC.
8/1 | PORTLAND | Allen Maclean, 41, is shot to death outside a building on Massachusetts Ave. Portland Police are investigating.
10/21 | LEWISTON | (late entry from prior year) Kitty Wardwell, 29, missing since 1983, is found inside a storage locker in Lewiston, rented by her former boyfriend, Frank Julien, who died on October 1. DOMESTIC
11/5 | SEBAGO | Peter Kolofsky is shot and killed while hunting. William Briggs is charged with manslaughter. Maine Warden Service investigated.
11/8 | CARMEL | Patricia Johnson, 69, is shot and killed by her husband, Laurel Johnson, 74, who shots and kills himself. MURDER-SUICIDE DOMESTIC
11/9 | LEWISTON | Samantha Folsom, 26, found dead inside her apartment.
11/12 | BRADFORD | David Trask, 71, is beaten to death along the Bear Road. Peter Robinson, 48, a nearby resident, is charged with murder.
11/28 | PORTLAND | Carlos Ramos, 47, is stabbed to death inside his apartment. His girlfriend, Lisa Anne McDonald, 48, is charged with manslaughter by Portland Police in Feb. 2012.

11/29 | DOVER-FOXCROFT | Udo Schneider, 53, is shot to death by Michael Curtis, 46, who is later shot and killed by a state trooper.
