Skeletal Remains Found in Gorham

On May 21, 2024, Gorham Police responded to 76 Longfellow Road in Gorham after receiving a call from utility workers believing they had come across skeletal remains.  Once on scene, Gorham Police notified the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit South to assist in the investigation. The remains have been taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiners in Augusta. Gorham and State Police continue to investigate.
