Updates to Hospital and Pregnancy Presumptive Eligibility Display

This summer, the Office of MaineCare Services updated the Health PAS online portal to show member coverage for Hospital Presumptive and Pregnancy Presumptive eligibility.

This change supports qualified providers and makes presumptive eligibility decisions. It allows a provider to see if a member has been assigned either of these eligibilities within the past year. Members with Hospital Presumptive coverage appear as “Hospital Presumptive Eligibility” and members with Pregnancy Presumptive coverage appear as “Pregnancy Presumptive” within the online portal.
