Service Locator Tool – Invitation to Behavioral Health Providers

The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is excited to announce the creation of a Service Locator Tool hosted on Bamboo Health’s TreatmentConnection.com. The Tool will improve access to treatment for substance use and mental health issues. The goal is to publicly launch this tool in summer 2023.   

There is NO COST to your agency to include your organization and services in this exciting new tool. To learn more about this and how to onboard to the platform, we encourage you to attend an orientation event listed below.    

At TreatmentConnection.com, individuals, families, or providers seeking behavioral health services and recovery supports can use this site to search for available nearby providers, review the type of care available, and submit inquiries about treatment to a network of trusted healthcare providers.     

Treatment providers can sign up to list their organization’s service(s) on the Treatment Connection public-facing portal where people searching for assistance in coping with mental health or substance use disorders can find them. Providers who receive inquiries about their services may respond through the individual's email and/or call the individual based upon the consumer’s submitted preferences. DHHS vets all treatment providers in Treatment Connection for appropriate licensure and certification.     

We rely on your collaboration and commitment to implement this tool and improve access to care for individuals with mental health and substance use disorder needs.    

The Office of MaineCare Services (OMS) will host an orientation the second Wednesday of each month. The next session will be June 14, 2023. All sessions feature the same content, and you can register here.
