Section 45: Hospital Non-Claims Payment Schedule for October 2026
As previously communicated, the Office of MaineCare Services (OMS) is preparing to launch an upgraded version of the Maine Integrated Health Management Solution (MIHMS), MaineCare’s claims processing system. To support a smooth transition, OMS must implement temporary system access limitations and adjustments to payment cycles in October.
MaineCare will distribute two separate hospital Prospective Interim Payments (PIPs) the week of September 28, 2026. MaineCare will not distribute PIPs the week of October 5, 2026.
