Section 23, Developmental and Behavioral Clinic Services: Child Abuse Evaluations, Draft Rate Model and Comment Deadline

On May 17, 2024, MaineCare held an online public meeting to present a draft rate model and rate, along with the rationale for the Section 23, Child Abuse Evaluation service. Interested parties had the opportunity to provide public comments.
The draft rate model and video recording of the meeting will be posted on our Rate System Reform website by the end of today.
The Department will accept written comments until May 21, 2024. The Department will respond in writing to comments with an explanation of whether and how the feedback was incorporated into the final rate determination.
As providers and interested parties, your feedback is important. We encourage your participation.
Comments, as well as questions related to this process, should be submitted to Dwayne Parsons, MaineCare’s Acting Rate Setting and Reform Manager.
