Previous Rate Determination Actions to Date:
In October of 2022, the Department initiated a Rate Determination Process* for Section 107, PRTFs, pursuant to P.L. 2021, Ch. 635. The Office of Behavioral Health (OBH) in collaboration with the Office of MaineCare Services (OMS) revised the service model to inform the development of draft rates. On June 15, 2023, the Department hosted an online public forum to provide an overview of the service model and to present a proposed rate and rate model along with rationale. Interested parties had the opportunity to provide public comments. Written comments were accepted following the forum. You can find all presented materials on the Rate System Reform website.
