Section 101, Medical Imaging Services: Medicare Standardization Rates Implemented for Calendar Year 2024 (CY24) CR 122712
In follow up to our January 19, 2024 notice, service codes and rates for Section 101, of the MaineCare Benefits Manual are now implemented, effective January 1, 2024, to reflect 72.4% of the most recent 2024 Medicare rates.
Adjustment of Claims
The Department will reprocess claims billed at or above the new rates, for dates of service January 1, 2024 through February 12, 2024, and no provider action is needed.
Providers who submitted claims below the new rates for the same date span above, will need to adjust claims within 120 days of the original payment date.
The updated Fee Schedule can be found on the Rate Setting page of the Health PAS Online Portal.
