Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) Information Request

The Office of Child and Family Services (OCFS), in partnership with the Office of MaineCare Services (OMS), developed a MaineCare policy for Children’s Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) services under the MaineCare Benefits Manual, Section 107, in 2018. 

As we continue to develop this level of care in Maine, we are interested in feedback from potential providers regarding the challenges and/or potential barriers that may be preventing you from providing this service. 

Please share your experience regarding the obstacles to developing a PRTF by completing this electronic form by June 24, 2022. Links to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and MaineCare rules regarding PRTF are included on the form for your review.
