Functional Family Therapy (FFT) and Multisystemic Therapy (MST) Therapist Qualification Exception

Providers of FFT and MST, covered under Section 65 of the MaineCare Benefits Manual, may request exceptions to the requisite qualifications for FFT and MST therapists. DHHS exception reviews will continue to align with Section 65.05-8(F).

Please contact Selina McGlauflin, Office of Behavioral Health’s Evidence-Based Practices Specialist, for an exception request form. Providers must submit this form for every staff person who needs an exception. Individuals who have already received an exception approval do not need to submit another exception request.
