Effective October 1, 2024, MaineCare has updated the Hospice rates. New rates were implemented for billing on October 23, 2024. You may view the fee schedule on the Health PAS Online Portal.   

Adjustments for affected claims with dates of service October 1, 2024 – October 23, 2024:   

The Department will reprocess claims billed at, or above, the new rates. No provider action is needed. 

For Providers who submitted claims with rates below the new rates, please adjust claims within 120 days of the remittance advice date. Please focus on older dates of service first.
