Family Planning New Alternative Payment Model (APM) Public Rate Forum Presented Materials and Comment Deadline

On November 20, 2023, MaineCare held an online public meeting with its vendor Manatt Health Strategies, LLC., to present the recommended draft Family Planning APM, along with rationales. Stakeholders were able to provide public comment during this forum.     

The PowerPoint presentations and video recording of the meeting have been posted on our Rate System Reform webpage. (There are now two versions of the PPT presentation: Version 2 is the originally presented PDF and Version 3 has been updated to correct procedure codes in the appendix fee schedule that were incorrectly set at $0).  

The Department will accept written comments until December 6, 2023. The Department will then respond in writing to comments with an explanation of whether and how the feedback was incorporated.  

As providers and interested stakeholders, your feedback is important during the rate determination process. We encourage you to participate.
