End of Continuous Coverage Requirement Webinar - Link to Webinar Fixed
In December, 2023, Congress passed a law that separated the Medicaid continuous coverage provision from the COVID-19 public health emergency by providing a fixed end date of March 31, 2023, for continuous coverage. The upcoming end of the continuous coverage requirement will bring with it important regulatory changes that will impact eligibility and coverage for MaineCare members.
The DHHS Office for Family Independence, Office of MaineCare Services, and Office of the Health Insurance Marketplace is hosting a webinar February 16, 2023, at 9:30 AM to provide an overview of:
- What the end of the continuous coverage requirement means for people enrolled in MaineCare.
- How the Department is planning to mitigate unnecessary coverage losses as regular processing of MaineCare eligibility resumes.
- How you can stay informed and assist with sharing information and resources in your community.
Please register in advance for this webinar. After you register, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
**Please note: this webinar will focus on member-facing impacts of the end of the continuous coverage requirement. It will not cover policy or operational changes impacting providers as a result of the upcoming end of the Public Health Emergency on May 11, 2023, which will be addressed by the Office of MaineCare services through other channels.
