Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Events
The EVV requirement deadline for Personal Care Services (PCS) was January 1, 2021, and will be January 1, 2023, for Home Health providers delivering services under Section 40 and for Hospice Services providers delivering services under Section 43.
We are offering provider and aggregator trainings, forums, and town hall events online via Microsoft Teams. The trainings are designed to help providers and aggregators to comply with federal EVV requirements.
Training Topics
Training topics include, but are not limited to:
- Accessing the Sandata EVV portal via the Health PAS Online Portal
- Performing EVV administrative functions such as creating and editing information for employees who will use the system
- Navigating through the Sandata EVV system
- Entering and editing visit records
- Recording visit data using other devices
- Accessing and reviewing reports
- Avoiding EVV visit exceptions

Provider and Aggregator Forums
The forums are meetings for providers and third-party vendors where you can ask the State, Gainwell, and Sandata EVV-related questions. Please send us your questions ahead of time so that we can prepare an answer. Please email your questions to the EVV email box.

You can register for these courses through the Absorb training platform. The Absorb training system allows providers to register for trainings and forums more than once. Access Sandata Town Hall recordings in the Absorb training platform by logging into your Trading Partner Account on the Health PAS Online Portal.
