Corrected Title for Section 67, Nursing Facility Reform: Revised Draft Rates and Methodologies Presented Materials & Comment Deadline

On October 23, 2024, MaineCare held an online public meeting for Section 67, Nursing Facilities to present the impact of revisions made to the originally proposed draft rates and models. We also explained the transition plan for the new rate model implementation. The revisions were based on public and written comments received following the original proposal in March of 2024. The transition plan factored in the transition funds appropriated by the Legislature.

We will accept written comments limited to newly proposed changes until October 30, 2024, and comments should be submitted to RateReform.OMS@maine.gov.
