*CORRECTED* State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2024 Rate Letters for Residential Care Facilities (RCFs, PNMI Appendix C), CR 119444

The SFY2024 rates for Residential Care Facilities that we calculated for the July 1, 2023 rate letters and implemented on August 9, 2023, by error did not include the direct care and routine cost adjustments.     

MaineCare has now updated the rates to include direct care and routine costs. The revised rate letters will be posted to the secure online Health PAS portal by Friday, August 11, 2023.       

Providers may bill for the updated rates on their revised July 1, 2023, rate letters on or after August 16, 2023.    

Providers will need to adjust any claims that were submitted for dates of service beginning July 1, 2023, through August 16, 2023.    

Please refer to our original July 28, 2023, notice for additional information on how rates were calculated. This information is still correct despite the error described in this message.
