Attention Section 45, Hospital Service Providers: Draft Rate Model Public Forum
In June 2023, MaineCare provided notice that it initiated a rate determination for Section 45, Hospital Services, pursuant to the principles and processes under PL 2021, ch.639, An Act to Codify MaineCare Rate System Reform.
PUBLIC FORUM
On December 11, 2023, MaineCare, in coordination with its vendor Burns and Associates, will host a virtual public forum via Zoom for interested providers and stakeholders. We will present initial draft reimbursement methodology recommendations and rationale. Stakeholders will have the opportunity to ask questions and to provide public comment during this forum.
The Department anticipates this will be the first of at least two public forums regarding Section 45, Hospital Services. This first session will focus on reimbursement for inpatient services in acute care hospitals and rehabilitation hospitals. As providers and interested stakeholders, your feedback is important, and we encourage you to participate.
