Attention Providers of Section 31, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC): Rebasing Stakeholder Informational Session Presented Materials

The Department and its vendor are collaborating with interested stakeholders to perform a rebasing of rates for FQHCs pursuant to P.L. 2021 Ch. 639 and Ch. 747. We initiated this rate determination on September 27, 2022.     

On February 21, 2023, the Department and its vendor held a virtual public meeting for interested stakeholders. The Department provided an update on the analysis of the supplemental cost report submissions to date, and what has been proposed thus far as services to be included or excluded from the T1015 encounter rate (core services). FQHCs were able to provide feedback on proposed costs to be carved out from the T1015.

 The Department will submit a State Plan Amendment (SPA) to ensure a March 1, 2023 effective date. Please watch for future noticing related to this SPA.
