For Current Participants

If you are a current HOPE student, you may find the following information helpful.

How Do I Request Support Services?

Once you are enrolled in the HOPE Program, you may request support services to help you cover costs related to school if you do not have another way to pay for them.

  1. Call or email us and tell us what you need.
  2. Send us the documents we need  to approve the request (see the Support Services Table in Forms & Documents). You can send us documents by email, fax, or mail. If you are unsure what you need to send, we will help you.

Resource Spotlight

HOPE features local efforts to connect people to resources. Highlighted resources may include things that provide assistance or services to HOPE students.

1. GO MAINE is a free service where you can find carpool partners and help Maine go and stay green. Create an account at gomaine.agilemile.com and record your greener trips, track your savings, and earn rewards.

2. My Maine Connection is the State of Maine's space to connect you with helpful resources such as healthcare, food assistance, and other financial assistance through the Office for Family Independence (OFI). The site is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to prescreen for eligibility, apply, renew, and make changes to your account with OFI.

Navigator Services

HOPE Program assistance includes student navigator services provided by Jobs for Maine Graduates (JMG).

NOTE: Working with a Pathway Navigator is optional. You may opt-out at any time.
