SUN Bucks is back this summer! SUN Bucks help to ensure that kids get the nutrition they need to thrive over the summer while school is out. Each eligible school-aged kid receives a one-time $120 EBT benefit to spend on groceries.
Keep an eye out for a letter in the mail! Most eligible kids will be automatically enrolled. Learn more about SUN Bucks and your child’s eligibility at: https://www.maine.gov/dhhs/ofi/programs-services/food-supplement/sun_bu…

Keep an eye out for your SUN Bucks!
If you already receive SNAP or TANF, OR if you received SUN Bucks or P-EBT in the past, your child’s SUN Bucks benefit will be loaded right onto that card. If you haven’t received any of these benefits previously, you will receive a new EBT card with instructions in the mail. Benefits will be available June 6th.
If you need a replacement card call (800)-477-7428.

SUN Bucks help kids get the nutrition they need while school is out! SUN Bucks can be used to buy groceries like fresh produce, meat, dairy and other staples at any participating retailer. Bonus: By shopping at participating farmers’ markets and farm stands through the Maine Harvest Bucks program or co-ops and local grocers through the Farm Fresh Rewards program, you can double your SUN Bucks dollars!

Summer is coming to an end. If your child received SUN Bucks grocery benefits, make sure to use them before they expire. If your child is eligible and you have not received benefits, apply at mymaineconnection.gov before August 15th.

What do you do with your SUN Bucks EBT card once you've used all of your SUN Bucks? Please keep the card that your SUN Bucks were loaded onto!
