Statewide Marketing of Adult Day Services

The Office of Aging and Disability Services (OADS) is excited to announce a statewide marketing effort to increase awareness of Adult Day Services.

The marketing plan includes digital, broadcast and cable television, and streaming segments as well as a refresh to the OADS Adult Day Services webpage.

To help evaluate the impact of this campaign, we asked providers to give the following question to families who called to inquire about services between October 1, 2024, through January 31, 2025:

How did you hear about Adult Day Services? (Check all that apply.)

  • TV

  • Online video

  • Facebook

  • Doctor’s office

  • Word of mouth

  • Area Agency on Aging

  • Community organization newsletter

  • Newspaper

  • Radio

  • Library

  • Other

Please send the cumulative results and any questions you receive after talking with families to Thom Snyder (Richard.t.snyder@maine.gov) by March 14, 2025. We appreciate your assistance in getting feedback from the impacted families you serve.

OADS previously notified Adult Day Services providers about the marketing campaign in September of 2024.

It has come to our attention that not everyone who signed up for e-messages are receiving the notices we send through the General, All Services distribution list. We are working to resolve this issue. In the meantime, we are sending communications intended for everyone who has signed up for e-messages to all distribution lists. We apologize for any inconvenience.
