Section 2, Adult Family Care Homes – Rate Determination: Comment Deadline and Draft Rate Models Posted

In August 2022 the Office of MaineCare Services initiated a rate determination for Section 2, Adult Family Care Homes. We held a public forum on January 12, 2023, with our vendor Burns and Associates to present the draft rate models and rationales to interested stakeholders and allow for public comment.

• As part of the public comment process the Department asks that providers submit a home staffing schedule, which can be found at the Burns and Associates website. The staffing schedule does not request any cost information, so it is anticipated to take approximately 10 minutes per home to complete. 

• Written comments will be accepted until January 31, 2023, and should be submitted directly to Karl Matzinger of Burns and Associates.
