Applications for Natural Resources Protection Act and Site Location of Development Act Permits

Downeast Wind, LLC is a proposed 126-MW wind energy facility located in Columbia, T18 MD BPP, and T24 MD BPP. The proposed project includes 30 turbines with a total height of 656 feet. Also proposed are a substation, new roads, and three meteorological towers. The applications were accepted for processing on May 17, 2021.
