Please Hold Claims for Pfizer Pediatric COVID-19 Booster Vaccine Administration Services
Effective May 17, 2022, the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for the Pfizer pediatric COVID-19 vaccine booster for children ages five to eleven years old. MaineCare will be updating the claims system in the coming weeks to add the following code for this service:

We will send another message when the system update is complete. At that time providers may submit their held claims or resubmit any denied claims for code 0074A.
