The Office of Business Development's Domestic Trade has funding available to Maine's businesses operating in the following target industries to build capacity for increased sales of products and services. The focus is to support businesses with efforts to drive sales through sales channel support, trade shows, marketing strategy, technical assistance/capacity building, and other trade assistance.
The results from second and final round of the Domestic Trade Grants program are included in this press release from the Office of Governor Mills.

Domestic trade support is also available for businesses through the following programs:
- Free market data. Complete a request form here
- Maine APEX Accelerator (formerly PTAC) for guidance on capacity building to access public sector markets and business to business opportunities. All funds have been committed as of January 2024.
- Maine International Trade Center (MITC)'s Domestic Trade Expansion Program for seafood, food and beverage, renewable energy, and defense, security, and aerospace businesses. Reach out to MITC staff for more information.
- Maine Made for expanded marketing efforts. Membership required. All funds have been committed as of April 2023.
- Maine Technology Institute (MTI) via the Maine Entrepreneurial Resource Corps (MERC) for professional consulting services that will accelerate business growth and sales capacity.
