Mount Blue State Park Conditions & Activities

Park & Trail Conditions

March 16, 2025 | Following recent melting, the ski trails have exposed rocks, slush, and bare ground. Skiing is not advised. The snowshoe trails have likewise melted and, while walkable, are slushy and icy. The snowmobile trails have been closed. Likewise, the ice rink is closed due to soft ice and is not likely to reopen this season. If you do visit the park to hike or enjoy the views, please use caution in the parking area, which is muddy and has been roped off in places to prevent anyone from getting stuck. Lastly, we have been seeing an increase in dogs off leash at the park. While we encourage you to bring your canine friends with you for a walk, please remember that they do need to be on leashes when at the park.
