Mount Blue State Park Conditions & Activities

Park & Trail Conditions

| Despite snow in recent days, there is still not enough on the ground to allow us to groom ski trails. However, the snowshoe trails are open for hiking (the snow is not deep enough to require snowshoes in most places, but we encourage the use of cleats or other traction devices). The ice rink is currently open as well. Also, please mark your calendars for this year's Winter Fun Day, which will be held February 8 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We hope for enough snow for skiing, sledding, and snowshoeing, but even without snow the event will be held as planned and will include ice skating, hiking, snowmobile displays, food sold by the Weld Winter Wildcats snowmobile club, nature displays and activities, and an outdoor fire pit with hot chocolate and coffee.
