Things to Know
- State Park Campground Online Reservations System and Call Center reserve campsites for groups of 6 or fewer people.
- A minimum of one (1) adult 18 years or older per camping party must be present.
- When you make an online reservation you can search for sites that will fit your RV or tent and among all the amenities we offer.
- Each Campsite has a picnic table and firering.
- State Park campgrounds are for the exclusive use of registered campers and their guests, and must used for the intended purpose of sleeping on the campsite.
- Larger families and groups may make reservations at our Group campsites.
- Pets are allowed at all campgrounds except Sebago Lake State Park Campground; they must be kept on a leash under the physical control of the handler and must not be left unattended. Pet waste must be picked up immediately and disposed of properly.
- Educational and recreational programs are offered at many of our Family Campgrounds and include special evening and campfire sessions. Call the park to get a copy of their schedule.
- For the events open to both campers and day visitors visit our searchable calendar of events.
- Playgrounds are available at many of the parks. Use our Park Search feature to learn more about the parks and view the amenities each offers.
- If you and your family are seasoned campers you may want to try a backcountry camping experience on the Public Reserved Lands.
- Accessible sites are offered for those who may benefit from them. For specific details contact the park in advance.
2025 Reservations
February 1:
- Lily Bay and Sebago Lake State Park ONLY– Monday, February 3, 2025 at 9:00 AM, EST (storm date if Maine State Government is closed – Tuesday, February 4, 2025) Make an online reservation at www.CampWithME.com
- Also on February 3: Group Camping and Picnic Shelter Reservations - call park directly Locations, Reservation Information, and Phone Numbers to call; no online reservations taken.
February 6:
- All parks - Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 9:00 AM, EST (storm date if Maine State Government is closed – Friday, February 7, 2025) View all State Park Family Camping campground maps. Make an online reservation at www.CampWithME.com
How to Reserve State Park Camping Trip
Group Reservations (6+ campers) must book group campsites.
Parties with 6 or fewer people

- Reservation must be made by 4:00 p.m. EST at least 1 day ahead of your arrival date, and we require a 2-night minimum stay on weekends.
- When booking a reservation on or after July 1, a 1-night minimum stay is available, including weekends, at all parks.
- Opening dates as listed above;

- Closes September 7, 2025 at 4 p.m. EST

- When booking a reservation on or after July 1, a 1-night minimum stay is available, including weekends, at all parks.
- Postmarks may not be earlier than the reservation opening date:
- For Sebago Lake State Park and Lily Bay reservations; 2/3/2025.
- All other State Park Camping reservations; 2/6/2025.

Online Reservation Tips
During the online reservation you will be able to:
- Specify Tent or RV Size (“Equipment Size”)
- Assures that the campsites generated during your search will be an appropriate size.
- Request Water & Electricity Hook-ups
- Available at Aroostook, Camden Hills, Mount Blue, Peaks-Kenny, Rangeley Lake and Sebago Lake State Parks only.
- View all fees by site on the Campground Fees page.
- Search for a Campsite by:
- Park Name
- 12 State Parks: Aroostook, Bradbury Mt., Camden Hills, Cobscook Bay, Lake St. George, Lamoine, Lily Bay, Peaks-Kenny, Mount Blue, Rangeley Lake, Sebago Lake, and Warren Island.
- View Campground Maps for each Park.
- Learn more about each park’s amenities and location with the park search feature.
- Arrival Date
- You must arrive and be registered between 1 p.m. - 9 p.m. EST, and be set-up on your campsite before 10 p.m. when quiet hours begin; generators, where allowed, may only be used 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Late arrivals will not be allowed entrance; a refund will not be issued.
- Number of Nights
- Minimum Stay
- Sebago Lake State Park requires a minimum 4-night stay if you make your reservation during February for the camping season.
- Weekend Minimum Requirement Friday & Saturday 2 night stay
- When booking a reservation on or after July 1, a 1-night minimum stay is available, including weekends, at all parks.
- Maximum Stay
- 14 nights per person, per State Park.
- From last Saturday in June through 3rd Saturday in August.
- No maximum stay limit during the off season.
Adding a Campsite to your Shopping Cart +
- Select the Search Button and search for the type of campsite you want.
- Select the campsite.
- Add the campsite to your “shopping cart” - A 15-minute hold is placed on each selection.
- To add a second site repeat steps 1-3.
- Proceed to checkout and complete all necessary information.
- The occupant listed will be the only person allowed to check-in to your campsite.
- Read Disclaimer and check the “I Agree” box.
- Payment Page. You need to have your credit card in hand (American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted).
- Receive Confirmation
- A numbered reservation permit is your confirmation; the person listed as the occupant must bring valid ID and a printed or electronic permit to check-in.
- May be reprinted anytime until your reservation date has passed.
- Review your confirmation immediately for accuracy. If there is an error contact the Reservation Call Center or edit your reservations online.

Cancel or Change a Reservation +
- Do it yourself at the online Reservation Center.
- Call the reservation Call Center, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday; closed holidays,
- Only the person listed in the billing section of the permit can make changes or cancel the reservation.
- If assistance is needed after hours or on weekends, contact the park directly you have reserved for.

- Requires your:
- Name - exactly as used on your billing credit card.
- Permit number.
- Credit Card used for original reservation.
