What You Will Need:
- Valid credit or debit card. (Master Card, Visa or Discover Card)
- Printer to print your confirmation.
- NOTE: Pass is mailed within 7 business days of your online order.
Need the Park Pass Today?
- Buy it at a Park or Historic Site.
- NOTE: Maine Senior Citizens - If you are a Maine resident and 65 years of age or older, you are admitted FREE with proof of age.
- The annual pass does not provide entry to these locations.
- Sign your pass as soon as you receive it.
- If season passes are lost, replacement passes will be sold at the original purchase price.
Vehicle Season Pass
- Admits the pass holder who signed the pass and occupants of the pass holder's vehicle, up to a 17 passenger maximum, to day-use facilities of Maine State Parks and Historic Sites (PDF 630KB).
- For information on entrance fees for larger vehicles, buses, and mini-buses, please contact your destination park directly.
- How to Purchase:
- Online.
- When you file your State of Maine income tax.
- At park this summer, or
- Call, or write our central office in Augusta, Maine.
- Cost = $105.
- On August 15th each year, we begin selling the next year's season pass. For example: if you purchase a pass on 8/15/16, you will receive a 2017 Maine State Park Pass which is good for the remainder of this season and all of the next.
- Not accepted at these locations.
Vehicle Senior Citizen Season Pass
- Admits the senior citizen pass holder who signed the pass, and occupants of any age in the pass holder's vehicle, up to a 17 passenger maximum, to day-use facilities of Maine State Parks and Historic Sites (PDF 630KB). Note: the senior citizen pass holder must be in the vehicle for the pass to be valid.
- How to Purchase:
- Not sold online. (ID is required.)
- At park this summer
- Cost = $45.

- Vehicle and Individual Pass ONLY, seniors must purchase the Vehicle Senior Citizen Pass at a park because an ID is required.

- Acadia National Park - managed by the National Park Service.
- Allagash Wilderness Waterway
- Baxter State Park
- Maine Wildlife Park or Swan Island - managed by Maine Inland Fisheries & Wildlife.
- Penobscot Narrows Observatory - managed by the Maine Department of Transportation.
- Penobscot River Corridor
- Peacock Beach - managed by the Town of Richmond, Maine.
- Scarborough Beach - operated in a public/private partnership by Black Point Resource Management LLC.
- Songo Lock
The Maine State Park Pass is for day use-use only and does not include camping. However, if you are camping at one of our 12 campgrounds, the day-use fee is included in the camping fee.
