Aroostook State Park Conditions & Activities

Park & Trail Conditions

January 16, 2025 | We are still needing more snow on the ground so we can start to offer decent conditions on our ski trails. At this point we have about a 2-inch base that has not been groomed. Ski conditions, until we get significant snow, will be poor at best. There is not enough snow to ski safely at this point. The snowshoe trails are open but one really does not need to have snowshoes to get around on the trails. Please use caution, especially while hiking on steep sections of the trails. Sliding hill is not open due to lack of snow. We are not open this winter for winter camping as the shower house construction project is underway.
