Nursing Home Administrator
"Administrator" means an individual who is charged with and has responsibility for the general administration of a facility other than a hospital whether or not such individual has an ownership interest in such home and whether or not that individual's functions and duties are shared with one or more other individuals.

Requirements
- A late fee of $50 is assessed for licenses renewed after the June 30 license expiration date.
- Renewal reminders are emailed approximately 60 days prior to the license expiration date.
- A person who submits an application for renewal more than 90 days after the license expiration date is subject to all requirements governing new applicants and is required to reapply with an original license application, documentation and fees.
- Continuing Education: 24 hours of continuing education pursuant to board rules.
Multi-Level Long Term Care Facility Administrator
A "Multi-Level Long Term Care Facility Administrator" is a licensed individual who is charged with, and has responsibility for, the general administration of a Multi-Level Long Term Care Facility, a Nursing Home, or a Residential Care Facility. A "Multi-Level Long Term Care Facility" is a medical care facility, other than a hospital, that provides more than one level of long term care, including care levels normally associated with nursing homes and those associated with residential care / assisted living.

Residential Care Facility Administrator
"Residential Care Facility Administrator" is an individual who is charged with, and has responsibility for, the general administration of a Residential Care Facility. A "Residential Care Facility" refers, for this purpose, to a Level II Residential Care Facility having a licensed capacity for seven or more residents, and whose services provided fall within the definition of a medical care facility other than a hospital.
