Purpose
Registration of Door-to-Door Home Repair Sellers was established to provide for regulation of persons offering home repair services to a consumer, to safeguard the public health, safety and welfare, and to protect the public from incompetent and unauthorized persons in the State of Maine.
The primary responsibilities of the Office are to review the credentials of qualified applicants for registration as Door-to-Door-Home Repair Sellers, to promulgate rules as necessary, investigate complaints and take appropriate disciplinary action for noncompliance of current laws and rules.

Effective March 1, 2019, the Office of Professional and Occupational Regulation (OPOR) will no longer issue paper license verifications.
