A manufactured housing community by the Department of Professional and Financial Regulation that is a parcel or adjoining parcel of land, under single ownership, that has been planned and improved for the placement of 3 or more mobile homes, but does not include a construction camp.

REQUIREMENTS FOR NEW OWNERSHIP
- Application for a Manufactured Housing Community License;
- If applicant is not an individual, certificate of good standing from the Secretary of State where the applicant is registered;
- If the applicant is a foreign entity, documentation of registration with the Maine Secretary of state Corporation Division. You may contact the Corporation Division by telephone at (207) 624-7752 for existing entities, and at (207) 624-7740 for new entities; and
- Appropriate license fee.

- Drinking Water Approval;
- Wastewater Disposal;

Renewal fees and information
Fees
Annual renewal fees are based on the number of sites in the manufactured housing community.

Renew Now
- Fill out the online renewal application and submit.
The Department must verify that you have met all the conditions for renewal before your license is renewed. Online submission of your renewal application should not be construed as automatic renewal of your license.
Requirements
- Completed Application;
- If there is a transfer of ownership or any changes to the renewal, the changes must be made on a separate application, go to "Apply Now" above.
- Credit Card authorization of payment of renewal fee(s);
- A late fee of $50.00 is assessed for licenses renewed after the March 31 license expiration date; and
- A person, firm or corporation who submits an application for renewal more than 90 days after the March 31 license expiration date is subject to all requirements governing new applicants and is required to reapply with original license application, documentation and fees.
