Tribal Self-Attestation, CR 108474
Effective August 26, 2022, the Department is now allowing MaineCare members to self-attest to being members of federally recognized tribes for the purpose of waving copayments and premiums.
If a MaineCare member believes they should not be charged a copayment at the time a service is delivered, have them call MaineCare Member Services at 1-800-977-6740. TTY users, dial 711 (Maine relay). If a MaineCare member needs to update their eligibility information, have them call the Office of Family Independence at 1-855-797-4357, TTY users dial 711, or online at My Maine Connection.
