RESCHEDULED: Section 45, Hospital Service Providers:  Public Forum Draft Reimbursement Methodologies

The Department has identified a new date and time for the Section 45 public review and comment forum.  

Public Review and Comment 

On June 11, 2024, MaineCare with its vendor Burns and Associates, a Division of Health Management Associates (HMA-Burns), will host a public forum to present draft rates and methodologies for acute care, rehabilitation and Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs). At the conclusion of the forum, the Department’s vendor will explain the process for submitting written comments by the deadline of June 25, 2024. The Department will respond to comments in writing with an explanation of whether and how the feedback was incorporated into the final rates.  

As providers and interested stakeholders, your feedback is important, and we encourage you to participate.
