Primary Care Plus (PCPlus) Performance-Based Adjustment (PBA) Update

This is a follow-up to our e-message on April 6, 2023, that stated MaineCare has delayed the application of the true PBA portion of the monthly population-based payment to PCPlus practices. PCPlus practices will continue to receive the standard PBA until further notice. In the interim, PCPlus providers will continue to receive their PCPlus quality performance reports via e-mail. PCPlus providers can expect to receive the latest quality performance report no later than Monday, October 23, 2023.    

MaineCare will notify you when there is an update on the true PBA implementation. In preparation for this change, MaineCare will hold a quality-focused technical assistance learning opportunity to be scheduled near the time when the PBA is expected to be implemented. More details will be provided in the coming months.
