MaineCare Provider Enrollment Progress Update

Gainwell continues to reduce the processing time for enrollment cases. Gainwell completed 572 enrollment cases in April and the average turnaround time for case completion was approximately 16.4 days. Case inventory was 520 at the end of April and the average system age of an enrollment case was approximately 19 days old.  

MaineCare will continue to update its responses to the provider feedback and suggestions from the January 2024 Listening Session. Many suggestions already have responses, and the most recent update was posted on April 16, 2024, here:  Provider Enrollment Suggestions.

MaineCare is ending these monthly provider enrollment e-messages as case inventory and processing times have returned to acceptable operating parameters.  We will continue to provide updates on provider enrollment system enhancements and system improvements as those are implemented.
