Maine Department of Health and Human Services Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic Stakeholder Meeting

The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is initiating a bi-monthly virtual stakeholder meeting series to gather input and inform efforts on the development of a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model in Maine. The first meeting will Monday, September 26th, 10:30am-12pm, held virtually through Zoom.

CCBHCs provide a comprehensive range of behavioral health services directly, and focus on coordinated care and use of certain evidence-based practices for individuals across the lifespan, including service members, veterans, and their families, regardless of their ability to pay. To inform the development of this model, the Department is prioritizing stakeholder engagement through this bi-monthly stakeholder series to allow consumers, healthcare providers, and community partners to provide input and participate in the discussions.

The CCBHC Stakeholder kick-off meeting in September will provide an overview of the CCBHC model by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, an update on the Department’s CCBHC activities, and offer an opportunity for questions and feedback from the attendees. Future bi-monthly meetings will be facilitated by the National Council to provide feedback into the design of Maine’s CCBHC model.
