Attention Providers of Sections 93, 92, 13, and 17 Services: Passthrough process now required if organizations jointly serve an Opioid Health Home Member

This is a follow-up to the e-message sent on September 2, 2022, and a correction sent on September 8, 2022, regarding the new requirement for Passthrough Payments for Opioid Health Home (OHH) services delivered by an expanded care team.

The Department will allow a maximum 90-day transition period for providers to coordinate services, develop contracts for passthrough payments, and discuss these changes to members. This transition period will be from August 21, 2022, to November 20, 2022. If you have a denied claim in this time-period for a duplication of service, please reach out to Kaley Boucher, OHH Program Coordinator, and she will assist you with further actions.

In addition, MaineCare, in conjunction with Kepro, will host a training regarding the new OHH Atrezzo codes, Atrezzo process, and claims processing on October 5, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. You can access this training at https://mainestate.zoom.us/j/81582947106?pwd=bkx1cFdrdjVGdkFFOG5BSXJWbVhwZz09.
