Attention Providers of Section 31, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC): Draft Rate Methodology Public Review Presented Materials and Comments

On March 30, 2023, MaineCare held an online public meeting to present a draft Alternative Payment Methodology (APM) along with the rationale for the recommended methodology for section 31, Federally Qualified Health Centers. The PowerPoint presentation and video recording of the meeting can be found on the Rate System Reform website.  

The Department will accept written comments on the APM rate methodology until April 13, 2023. The Department will then provide a summary of comments with our response explaining if and how we will incorporate feedback into the final proposed rate method.  

Comments, as well as questions related to the draft methodology or rate determination process in general, can be submitted to Bryan Lumbra, MaineCare’s Rate Setting Project Manager.  

As providers and interested stakeholders, your feedback is important, especially during the rate determination process. We encourage you to participate.
