The Housing Opportunity Program applied for grant funding in October 2024 from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This grant opportunity, known as Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing (PRO Housing), appropriates $100 million in grant funding for the identification and removal of barriers to affordable housing production and preservation. HUD estimates that the project start date for successful applications is the first quarter of 2025,or after the expected issuance of awards.
