The Division of Legal Affairs, Adjudications and Hearings provides legal advice, guidance and counsel to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles relating to the administration of the motor vehicle laws. The Division is also responsible for conducting administrative hearings and the hearings held by the Motor Vehicle Franchise Board.

Your suspension notice will tell you if you are eligible for a hearing and how to request one.
Hearings for demerit point suspensions may be scheduled for a telephone appointment by calling the Hearings Section at the telephone or TTY number shown above.
All other hearing requests should be submitted in writing to the Hearings Section at the address shown above. Please include your name, date of birth, daytime telephone number, current mailing address, driver license or history number, and a brief statement regarding what you are requesting the hearing on.
