Intake caseworkers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays. Reports of child abuse and neglect can be made confidentially or anonymously.

  • For information collected by DHHS, OCFS for Child Welfare or Child Care data that is not publicly available to use for research purposes, visit the DHHS Research Data Request information page.
  • For OCFS Child Welfare or Child Care data, submit a DHHS FOAA request
  • To request records on a closed case, or information about a possible open case, call 800-452-1999 and select option 2 when prompted
