Upcoming Stewardship Forester Training: March 19, 2025
The Maine Forest Service is hosting their next Stewardship Forester Training Wednesday, March 19, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The training will be in-person at the Penobscot County Conservation Association building in Brewer, ME. 570 N Main St, Brewer, ME 04412. The training is required for new foresters to become a part of the MFS Stewardship Forester network and be eligible to write WoodsWise stewardship plans.
Details about the WoodsWise program
Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Existing Stewardship Foresters are welcome to attend the full day meeting, or the afternoon session focused on climate change. A formal training agenda is forthcoming. Registration if free but required to attend.
